"Covid Road Signs" in the Petri Dish Project Exhibition at Tebbs Gallery pop-up (56 Middlesex St, Spitalsfield, London E1EZ) from 23-30 August 2021 & online until 14 January 2022 (www.tebbsgallery.com/product-page/covid-road-signs).
Revisiting the imaginary Covid road signs that I drew to remind myself of the rules and restrictions we endured over 18 months in 2020-21. Eight of the road signs are on an exraordinary "helix concertina" that fold nearly circular. It was made to fit into an eight centimetre petri dish.
Hope you can interpret the icons on the road signs: Vaccination; Circuit Breaker; Covid 19 Virus; Hand Washing; Lockdown; No Touching Mouth, Nose or Face; Shielding; Tiers.
