An Episode from Family History
A story of cheerfulness in the face of the recurrent adversity faced by my paternal grandmother, Edith Annie Clements, née Dunn. But did others see her in the same light as I did? It is too late now to be sure – there are very few left who remember her. Maybe all of us should find out more about the lives of our grandparents, parents, aunts & uncles while we still have access to “primary sources”?
Uses a new structure, the “Constricted Snake”, invented while making this book.
Made for the Hereford Archive and Records Centre’s 2018 exhibition “60 years in a Box”.
