Thinking Inside the Box
We regularly read about the importance of inventers and creative thinkers. Job advertisements call for candidates who can “think outside the box”, “push the envelope” or are good at “blue sky thinking”. But in this artist’s bookwork, the creative thinking (an original screenprint) is on the inside, while the outside has shallow management jargon like “brainstorming”, “thought showers”, “off the wall ideas” and “break-out sessions”.
Do you think inside or outside the box?
