Hitler’s propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels thought that people would believe any lie, however big, if it is told loudly and often enough.
Despicable though Nazi propaganda was, the theory may work. This book appears to contain just repetitions of a portrait of the artist’s eyes and nose. In fact, the left-hand side of the self-portrait is a mirror image of the right-hand side. This is difficult to detect and made more so by the repetition.
